Hello! As warm weather is approaching (unless you are in Pittsburgh, PA that is hard to believe as it snowed this morning!) and you are starting to see signs of spring, that means Easter is right around the corner.

As the title says, here are some ideas for toddlers, but we put the same type of things in the basket every year, so it could work for any age!

What goes in our kid’s Easter baskets?

Again, these basket ideas are great for any age! Each year, we fill the kid’s baskets with the same things, just personalized to their current age and interests. We may make a few adjustments here or there, but for the most part, the filler list remains the same.

This year we will fill baskets for our 4-year-old son and our 1.5-year-old daughter.

Toddler Boy Easter Basket

This year, I grabbed a chocolate bunny (because is it really Easter without one?!?), and some spring trail mix for candy.

I found these adorable Peep Bunnies, on an Instagram ad and they were surprisingly good quality! The ones I got appear to be sold out, but I found some that look very similar.

Instead of an outfit this year, I chose to go with a sweatshirt. I found it on the same site as the Peep, and when I saw the saying I could not resist!

Graham got a tonie for his birthday and has been asking for a Wild Krattz tonie since then. The Tonie is small and fairly inexpensive so I also got him a bug catcher that he can use when the weather does finally warm up.

I’ll put it all in his dinosaur basket that he has used since his first Easter, with some matching green grass. We have cats, so I prefer to get the paper grass, in case they would get into the baskets.

Toddler Girl Easter Basket

For Audri, I also got a chocolate bunny and a spring-themed trail mix, as well as a Peep Bunny.

I also got her a sweatshirt this year, as opposed to a full outfit.

For her toy, I saw this really cute Melissa and Doug flower planting set, that I knew she would love.

This will be her second Easter using her unicorn basket. I also will be filling it with pink paper grass.

Hoppy Easter shopping!

Need a quick dessert for Easter?

Check out my post on Multi-Colored Sugar cookies. For Easter last year, I used pastel colors for the dough and made the cookies egg-shaped.
