A few summers ago, a friend had us over for dinner and made the best grilled chicken. I made sure to not leave without getting her recipe! This marinade makes the perfect chicken for a get together, or a family meal.
Ingredients
There are 7 ingredients in this Beer and Honey Marinade:
- Minced garlic
- Beer (any left over in the fridge will do, but I prefer it with a light beer)
- Honey
- Soy Sauce
- Red peper flakes
- Dijon Mustard
- Olive Oil
Coming Together
I used a large glass bowl with a lid, this way I can mix together the marinade and you don’t need to use a different container when you add the chicken.
Just mix together all of the ingredients into the bowl first.
This recipe is enough to cover 1-1.5 pounds of chicken. You can place full chicken breasts into the marinade, or cut the chicken into pieces. I personally like to cut the chicken first, as the marinade seems to cover the chicken better that way.
You can let the chicken marinate for a few hours or over night.
Then all you need to do, is grill them!
Enjoy
Pair this chicken with an orzo salad, or a baked potato.
Finish off this summer time meal in the most perfect way, with a slice of Strawberry Pretzel Pie.
